    Default ograskal

i see raskal finally put some beans up at the farm.

and there was 2 packs left, and so i figure, kool, i can snag a pack and see what's up with his gear.

651.00 dollars is the current bid. there ain't a pack of seeds on the fucking planet i would pay that for, much less for some unknown breeder like raskal. holy shit man, this fucker think he is selling gold ?

or is the average person at the farm that fucking stupid ? no way them beans are worth that.

those are auction raskals sells all his gear for 85-100 dollars. hes always done it that way even when pirces were 200 for other breeders. if its the white fire people are going crazy over that plant.

yeah he has a few strains people go nuts over AND they are in limited quantity. that's not his doing that's the bidders of the farm. it could be inflated by either the breeder or the site owner by posting fake bids.

I just bought them....LOL just kidding. I bought the Ed Rosenthal from Sensi once, close to 200USD....worth every penny but that was a stretch for me. One of if not the nicest plants I ever had the pleasure of running. Beautiful looking creatures, all stable all germed.

i would probably go 200 for the ed rosenthal's. 200 is about max i would go for a pack of beans though.

yeah i guess the bidders are going nuts and running the price up. maybe they have never grown or smoked good weed before, and just got to have them...lol

80- 100 sounds about right for his gear, i guess the sheep like the high prices though. 60 dollars a bean...lol

What I love is that people chase after a name, without knowing what's in it.

There is another site, with a grower with 30+ years growing who worked with Mendocino Joe, from the crew that really bred Skunk no.1 . He recently gave out a bunch of circa 1978 Skunk no.1 seeds. ( Skunk when it still smelled like skunk before it reached the netherlands). They found Road Kill Skunk, Coffee tasting, chem tasting plants. Old Northern Lights, also as strong as the strongest kushes if you can find it. Yet no one thinks of spending 40-50 bucks on seeds that will give you the same tastes, stone that these overpriced random crosses to elite clones have. And they will actually yield. It's as if people think these phenos are new. They are afghani phenos, mexican phenos, thai phenos. Pine, skunk, chem, coffee and you can find those same traits if you know where to look in over looked , cheaper , better yielding strains.

When the blind lead the blind, no good will prosper.

There's no possible way id ever pay 600+ dollars for a pack of beans. Im sure like as stated in the post quoted everyone could do exactly so n order a pack of beans like mentioned n grow some out n even possibly find a pheno or 2 of what they are looking for. However, Now dont get me wrong. Like i said id never pay that much for a bean. But to me it is niice certain peeps have taken the time to breed certain characteristics and pheno's from strain n make some killer bud. Ive recently grown out over 200 beans. N found 3 keepers of what i was particularly looking for. If u took 200 beans and slung them out as 10 pax at say 50 bux well u are well even past the 600 dollar mark. N still unsure u will find what u are looking for. And even then are unsure u are getting the proper genetics to begin with all the different versions of the same strain's from so many different breedrs out thier. Im glad certain peeps are takeing the time to do work and put that work out. Im not happy that u have to pay ur ass off to get that work tho.. So i dunno. This was not an arguementative post really. But to say nameless and not necessary is shameing the work a few good peeps put in. I figure its still gonna take me another year or 2 to really get to where i wanna be with the beans im working with and im doing it for fun. But i also started with a high priced pack of beans but got what i paid for without a doubt. Peace.
