Ok folks I finaly have things going... I actually had the room pretty much setup but I didn't like and tore it down.. Tonight I built my veg room.. I still have pvc sheeting yet to put up, but I have time now! Work schedule looks like it is slowing down and I have finally managed to catch up from time missed at work. Anyway I know it isint a actual grow quite yet..
Any thoughts on how I can improve in anyway are as always welcome!

This is the same space I used for my last grow. IM going to grow from the floor up this time so I can let em get nice and big! IM going to wrap pvc sheeting around the frame.. on the right side I have a xtra 2x4 for mounting fans or whatever else I might need to mount.

got a lil more work done on the tent... need to do a lil more light proofing but have the actual structure pretty much done.. you will notice the three 2x4 on the right wall, that is where I am going to mount my fans and other hardware.. I had to add another intake, because the 6in wanted to implode my tent, its 12 X 5, I got 2 10 X 25 intakes covered with allergen filters.

Spray silicone works great to keep the zips sliding free, won't hurt the plastic either.

- Wow man, what an odd turn of crummy luck, if you believe in that sort of thing... Sorry to hear about the seeds bro. One time I changed my germing location without accounting for the other changes that went along with the move, like a higher ambient temp in the new spot... I fried like 5 seeds, only one made it out alive, and it grew ratarded for like a month and a half... now it looks better than it's sisters! lol, anyway, Just letting ya know that we all lose seeds from time to time, and sometimes its not just bad luck, its your own stupidity, as it was in my case, lol. I am sure that at least a few of us have lost seeds through accidents or other reasons, and I think we all feel for ya brother.

- I like to let my germing seeds go pretty far too, kochab. They don't necessarily have to be out of their shells, but by the time they are all ready, usually about 2/3rds of them are completely shell-less. I just put the little cotelydon tops right under the soil, and by the next morning I usually have some green leaves poking out the soil. Then if they get to be an inch or two tall and have not been firmly rooted, just add a bit more soil to your container. This seems to work for me pretty good. Just got 100% germ rate on my first F1s, and a likely 100% sprout rate also! (I still have one seed that hadn't germed that I split open, and now it's germing! It will be sprouting tomorow or the next day, methinks.) Whoo Hoo!!

Ok now for a lil update!
I had 3 more of the MTF crack so I have put them to soil as well... As this is my first time growing this way and only my 2nd time growing ever, how often should water? When do I want to start my nute reg? btw I have them in mg soil right now, I was told the ff would cause burn early....

Im really not sure if that mg soil or the FF would burn them more....But both have nutes in them so its a possibility on either account.
A few leaves may die but other than that they should be cool.

Watering...in those cups with seedlings you may not have to water more than once maybe twice a week...Just stick your finger down in the soil an inch or 2 and if it feels dry then it should likely be watered.
I dont feed my plants any nutes till about their 4th node up. If your using the FF soil then you likely wont need to feed for a month or longer though because it already has nutes in it as you know...

If you need help with something an no one comes to your resucue for a bit then shoot me a pm. Ill try to stop in more often seeing how you say you may need the help but I still dont make it to journals nearly as much as I should....

oh, and MG soil is NEVER the solution! if FF soil will burn (that is one of the more fucked up things i have heard, BTW) MG will napalm the growth off.

seedlings do best in a soilless medium (no nutes) so simple sphagnum or peat plugs would be decent.... or rockwool.

Ok so I got some shots of the tent. I dont think they will really let ya see much but I tried... the exhaust you can see and Im going with a passive intake, wich is just vertical 2"x3' gap I left on a corner. Seems to be working great. I have a 600 watt MH going in there and no heat issues..
as we go keep in mind I still dont know what Im doing.... I already have two casualty.... romulous 1 and 3 sprouted and laid right over.... but everything else is looking pretty good.. I hope..

ya keep the light as close as you can keeping those temps and watch for the edges to curl up ( cupping ) that is a sign of to hot.
also yes i keep a dome on mine till about the 3rd or 4th node. helps keep up the humidity.

in concerns to the light... you should also take into account the light spread... you want a good coverage of light for your plants. so too close could lead to poor coverage, and indeed an overall loss to yield.

Your temp's are fine... seemingly. May i ask where you are measuring the temp's from? the best place to measure the temp's is from just above the top of the plants.

what is causing the RH flux? does it go with the temps? and if so, which way? is it the local swamp?

Id like to say it is local climate, but with the tent and the ventilation I thought i would be able to control that better... kinda at a loss..

put the RH meter outside the grow for a day and see... if it is ambient RH maybe a dehumidifier outside the grow by the fresh air intakes? really though, that range isnt too awful, i doubt i would pull my hair out or spend money chasing that.

And if you are going to be using 3 gallon bags then I would transplant straight into them, avoid the transplant shock from the 1 gallon to the 3 gallon....

nope that is a good thing. Means that your nuting them well or that they arent needing many nutes @ this time. Once you get a little off on a good feed schedule with them Ive noticed that the color disapears. When the plants are food happy then it returns a little....

yeah, the mtf is all green, so purple/pink stems mean a lack of phosphorous. however, these seeds are s gen from the clone only TRU cut of mtf (matanuska thunderfuck) from the matanuska valley (denali area) alaska. the purple i've stressed is the true pheno..... it will have PURPLE cotyledons, very distinct coloration. fresh growth is green, but first few sets of true leaves will be slightly variegated (white fades and streaks in the leaves). the ones that show these traits (both must be exhibited) are the TRU mtf pheno. the others are parent phenos, and should be discarded (unless you really like one...). i will be stabilizing this, and bringing it to skunk skool. mtf is a project i've been working on for a LONG TIME.... it took me more than a couple of years to get what i got (tru mtf genetics) http://www.skunkskool.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif

romulus is a f1 hybrid of dreamgoddessxromulan. we will be producing f2 stock, but probably not until next year. our romulan male was from old seed stock, from the original romulan batch. only one plant made it to maturity, and it was male. we kept and used him for almost two years, until spider mites destroyed the parent plant and clone.

no, tga had nothing to do with the creation of dreamgoddess, a f1 cross of godbudxdreamweaver. dreamgoddess was a limited one time batch, low germ rates, and seeds were distributed through alien as freebies. to my knowledge i have the only mother of the cross, as it wasn't one that was hype or popular at the time. most who grew them did not take clones, but simply flowered them out.

they look a little under watered to me still....I cant tell well by pics though.
One issue that could be from is those high temperatures....Need some fans or somethig to help move air around and bring those temps down some.

Im sticking my mtf from seed into flower now to get this male started flowering Then Im going to put him in a pc case and make some more seed....Ive got what looks to be by preflowers 2 females but there arent any pistils showing yet....

Havent had a lot of time to update.. shame cause Im not so comfortable with this grow so far.. at any rate, they all started drooping this past weekend.. Ive been playing with the water a bit to try and bring them back up. seem like they are getting happier but still the droop... IM thinking I need to transplant to the 3 gal bags, I popped one of the MTF out of the cup and found the roots are showing themselves quite a bit at the bottom and lil on the sides.. correct, the mtf do contain ruderalis in the blood, but are not autos. the males will almost always flower after showing sex, regardless of strain. males flower when sexually mature, not as much dependent on light.

i have had a few females try to auto on me, mtf was one. it never fully flowered under 24 hours, but tried to.... and flower time was six weeks exactly.
